FullPaint - to edit the shape of your paint brush - hold down the Command-key while double-clicking on the Paintbrush icon.  You will be presented with a dialog box which shows the present shape of your brush.  As you move the pointer into the square, the pointer changes to a pencil.  Now you can create your own brush.  Just hold down the mouse button and draw.  Click "ok" when finished.
